Ditch the delivery! Make a gourmet mushroom pizza at home with portobello, cremini, and shiitake mushrooms for a flavor explosion.

The Ultimate Mushroom Pizza Experience
Pizza night is a beloved weekly staple in many households. But why settle for takeout when you can create a gourmet pizza experience in your own kitchen? Mushrooms, with their incredible range of flavors and textures, are the perfect way to elevate your homemade pizza to a whole new level.
Featured Mushrooms:
Portobello Mushrooms: Their large caps and meaty texture make portobellos ideal for substantial pizza toppings.
Cremini Mushrooms: These flavorful mushrooms add depth and richness to any pizza.
Shiitake Mushrooms: Shiitake mushrooms deliver an intensely savory, umami-rich flavor.

Instructions
Preheat Oven
Preheat oven to 450°F (230°C) with a pizza stone or baking sheet inside.
Prepare Dough
On a floured surface, roll out pizza dough to 12 inches. Transfer to parchment if using a pizza stone.

Assemble Pizza
Spread pizza sauce evenly over the dough.
Layer with sautéed mushrooms, mozzarella, and Parmesan.

Transfer to the hot oven. Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until crust is golden and cheese is bubbly.
Garnish & Serve
Top with fresh basil and optional red pepper flakes or garlic oil. Slice and serve hot.
Tips
Customize your toppings: Add your favorite pizza toppings like pepperoni, sausage, olives, or onions.
Spice things up: Sprinkle a pinch of red pepper flakes over the pizza for a touch of heat.
Garlic lovers: Brush the crust with garlic-infused olive oil before adding the sauce for extra flavor.
