Standard gypsum: partially dissolved

- Fruiting is hard. The mycelium has to "decide" to invest in reproduction rather than just continuing to grow.
- Environmental triggers for fruiting include: substrate maturity, temperature drop, humidity, light, FAE, and nutritional sufficiency.
Calcium and sulfate are part of the nutritional sufficiency signal. The substrate needs adequate, available calcium and sulfate for mycelium to "decide" to fruit confidently.

- Not a substitute for proper substrate technique. Gypsum is an amendment to a substrate; the substrate itself still needs to be appropriate for the species.
