Each bag layers sorghum grain spawn over our proprietary fruiting substrate, pre-sterilized inside a T10 filter Unicorn Bag with an injection port — ready to inoculate and run.

What's new in this version: enhanced airflow thanks to an upgraded micron filter. Fruits set faster, pins are stronger, and colonization runs cleaner than the previous generation of all-in-one bags.

Why sorghum, why layered

Sorghum is the grain that gives mycelium the cleanest, fastest colonization profile of any commonly-used spawn grain — it holds moisture without breaking down, doesn't compact like rye, and clears contamination at a rate most cultivators only see with much more expensive substrates.

Layered means the spawn sits on top of the fruiting substrate inside the same bag. No mixing, no measuring, no transfer step — inoculate through the injection port, wait for full colonization, break and shake to mix the layers when you're ready to fruit, then open the bag and let it run.
