Instructions for Use

- Sanitize Your Workspace: Clean all surfaces with disinfectant and use gloves and a face mask to prevent contamination.
- Prepare Substrate: Reishi mushrooms grow best on hardwood substrates like oak or maple sawdust, hardwood logs, or supplemented sawdust blocks. Ensure your substrate is sterilized and cooled.
Inoculation Steps:
- Shake the Syringe: Gently shake to evenly distribute the Reishi mycelium in the solution.
- Attach the Needle: Remove the syringe cap and securely attach the sterile needle provided.
- Sterilize the Injection Point: Clean the inoculation point (jar lid, bag port, or log hole) with the alcohol prep pad.
- Inject the Liquid Culture: Slowly inject 1-2 ml of the liquid culture per inoculation site.
- Seal and Incubate: Seal your jars, bags, or logs and place them in a clean, warm environment between 70°F - 80°F (21°C - 27°C).
Colonization Period:
- Allow 14-30 days for full colonization, depending on the substrate and conditions.
- Look for healthy, white mycelium spreading throughout the substrate. Reishi may form antler-like structures early on.
Storage Instructions
- Short-term: Store the syringe in a refrigerator at 35°F - 41°F (2°C - 5°C). Use within 2-3 months for best results.
- Long-term: Do not freeze, as freezing damages the mycelium.
